Description
CRV07S40 is a surface lure that imitates a worm or caterpillar. It has a strong vibration that attracts fish that hunt near the surface of the water. Recommended for chub and trout but also for other species.
I designed the model for easy printing in one piece with holes for 0.8mm stainless steel wire. No additional weight required.
I have now added the 33mm version for ultralight fishing. In this model I use stainless steel wire with a thickness of 0.6mm. For better balancing, I insert a 4mm ball bearing into the belly of the lure which I cover with baking soda and superglue and then polish. The lip I use is 1mm thick, 17mm long and 10mm wide. I made a small cut in the middle of the lip at the bottom which helps with centering and better fixation with glue in the body of the lure. This model has a single triple hook no. 12 Total weight 2.5 grams. Printing time approximately 40 minutes for the PETG filament I use. Printer settings the same as for the 40mm model.
For the 33mm model, we replaced the original version with the V2 version. We modified the slot to make it easier to insert the wire.
