Description
The X-34 was a rocket-powered spaceplane built to push the future of reusable space travel. It was designed to launch from beneath a carrier, being deployed for a climb through the atmosphere at speeds up to Mach 8, the X-34 combined cutting-edge aerodynamics, autonomous flight systems, and rapid reusability into one futuristic machine. Even though the program never reach the final stage, now you can print your own to celebrate another cool spaceplane! (PLA and ABS might not be suitable for Mach 8 flights ;) )
The model is highly detailed with panels, landing gears and thruster. The assembly is fairly simple, with a detailed assembly guide, only requiring regular superglue. Supports are kept to a minimum but a few parts are set to be printed with supports for the best result.
Tolerances are set for a proper fit of the parts. If small parts are still difficult to fit, make sure to adjust the filament flow for the walls and to play with the order of the wall for the best result.
Finally, don't forget to share images of your prints!
