Kit to Build an Adjustable Height Dog Agility Jumping Obstacle

This kit allows you to build a fully adjustable height agility obstacle for your pet. The project is made using PVC pipes that are easy to find, cut and lightweight.

Required Materials

To build this obstacle, you will need ø32mm PVC pipes. The project is scalable, so you could scale it according to the pipes you have avaliable. In total, you will need 4m lenght of pipe, which can be divided into:

  • 4 pipes of 80 cm
  • 2 pipes of 40 cm

Assembly Details

The pipe has been drilled with a 4mm drill bit to allow for the insertion of the positioning key. I drilled a hole every 5cm. The horizontal bar support has an eyelet where I used a small elastic thread to connect it to the key and help prevent losing it.

Size Considerations

I have a small sized dog, so the pipe measurements reflect these dimensions. However, the project can be adapted for larger dogs by using longer pipe lengths to accommodate their size.

Easy Assembly and Disassembly

This obstacle is designed with snug tolerances that fit the 32mm diameter pipes, so there's no need to use glue or other adhesives. This allows the structure to remain easily disassembled and reassembled, for easy transport and storage.
