Description
There are already many tracks and track sets for the typical wooden train suppliers such as Brio, Hape, Ikea Lillabo etc.
So why did I design my own tracks?
Well, many of the rails already available are based on the designs of wooden rails optimized for machining. These are therefore only suitable for 3D printing to a limited extent.
As I have already tried out several different rails and printed numerous other designs myself, I knew that there was a lot of potential for improvement here!
The tolerances of the connectors often don't fit very well either.
So I sat down to do it myself, because I wanted to have rails that were fun for me and my son and that didn't have any design flaws.
So what makes my rail designs so special?
A set of Adapters with 2 male and 2 female connectors
I did a lot of testing so this design uses my V2 Connectors - this Connector is compatible with all track manufacturers I know - If you have any problems feel free to get in touch with me!
Here you can see an example of the fit with Original Brio Tracks:
Please take a look at my collection of Brio train tracks, where I am gradually adding more models: https://makerworld.com/de/collections/4580026
