Description
I'm making something that needed a ball bearing to allow two parts of my model to spin independently of each other. I found a ball-bearing print in place model on Thingiverse and it worked (mostly) but it didn't print reliably.
This ball-bearing is big but it works and prints well. It's print-in-place without supports so all it needs is a little twist to get it going. It'll be a little stickly at first but the more you use it the smoother it gets. If you have some PTFE spray then this quickly goes from good to “wow”.
This has been tested using Bambu PLA basic and it prints in about 30 minutes. I'm going to be using this in a couple of projects but thought it might be useful to other people.
It actually makes a pretty good fidget spinner :-)
