Design and Dimensions

• The tower is built in modules, making it adaptable to different needs.

• Each module holds three baskets.

• With two modules (excluding the lamp holder), the total height is 601 mm, including a water collector at the base.

Water Flow and Connection

• The tower is designed for an external pump. Water is directed into the top, where it is evenly distributed over the roots, and then flows down to the collector at the base.

• Connection dimension: 20 mm in diameter.

• Recommended setup:

• Use two buckets with lids: one as a base for the tower and one as a water reservoir with a submersible pump.

• A specially designed lid for the hose and power cable to the pump is included in the design.

Baskets and Growing Media

• The small baskets have a diameter of 30 mm and are designed to fit standard grow plugs.

• The larger baskets have a diameter of 96 mm and can be filled with any suitable growing media.

Lighting and Lamp Holders

• The lamp holder brackets are mounted using Ruthex for added stability.

• The design of the brackets is optimized for easy 3D printing.

• For this tower, grow lights from IKEA are used.
