NFC tag coin shells for music jukebox

There was an awesome blog on home-assistant.io about using an NFC scanner to create a jukebox: https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2020/09/15/home-assistant-tags/ 

Since the tags are a bit small for children and i needed a way to identify which tag would trigger which playlist/song i figured lets create a simple shell around it with a picture. This one triggers a tractor song playlist:

There are some examples i included in the project file but it is very easy to create your own using svg's:

1. Import an SVG file:

2. Simply click on return in this import menu because we'll scale it properly right after this:

3. Click on the model and then click on Scale.
4. Make sure uniform scaling is on.

5. Find the largest value in either X or Y and change it to 30. I found this fits quite well in the coin for most SVG's.

6. Then turn off uniform scaling and scale the Z to 1 mm:

7. Save this as an STL.
8. Load the blank coin.

9. Center one of the halfs.

10. Right click on the half and click load modifier.

11. Select and center your saved STL.

12. Give it a nice color in the left menu.
13. Choose a nice color for the coin and as finishing touch you can give the ring a different color too.

The two coins halves can simply be glued together.
