This deck box is built into parts:
- The main deck box body, which has a circular insert into which you can plug one of the five provided mana symbol discs;
- A lid;
- A bottom part that magnetically attaches to the main body via 4 + 4 (8 in total) 6x2 mm magnets. The bottom part also has a hexagonal hole in the back so you can easily push the drawer out with a finger.
- A drawer that slides in and out of the bottom part, on a rail. The drawer also has two slots for magnets, as well as the bottom bit. I found that ultimately the drawer is sturdy enough that it stays in place without magnets by friction only, but you can use magnets if you so wish (that would add another 4 6x2mm magnets).
The drawer can be used to hold any kind of ancillary item, such as the provided counters, which come into duotone material and in these fashions:
- +1/+1
- +2/+2
- +5/+5
- +10/+10
- and the equivalent negative counterparties.
To assemble this deck box, you will need
- Super-glue
- 8 magnets, sized 6x2 (6mm diameter, 2mm thickness)
- 4 optional magnets, of the same size, for the drawer
