Description
The Minotaur is a legendary creature from Greek mythology, depicted as a monstrous being with the body of a man and the head of a bull. Born from the union of Pasiphae, the wife of King Minos of Crete, and a divine bull, the Minotaur was a symbol of both terror and divine punishment. To contain the beast, King Minos ordered the construction of the Labyrinth, a vast and intricate maze designed by the craftsman Daedalus. The Minotaur fed on human sacrifices sent from Athens until the Athenian hero Theseus, with the help of Minos' daughter Ariadne, navigated the Labyrinth and slew the creature, ending its reign of terror.
