Monorail Train Set (NO AMS)

This is a working monorail set for any use you have in mind. This design is inspired by the monorail/train called the Rokko liner in Japan, near where I used to live. The wheel-rail mechanism will hook on to the track, and will still hold on when flipped upside down. The monorail glides smoothly over the track, which can be extended as much as you want. 

 

Even though the print profiles may say that this print is 200g-300g, it is probably 50-100 grams less than that as alot of the weight comes from the extra track parts you can delete. The rails can be printed with no supports as long as quality is not the no.1 thing on your mind when printing this. When putting pieces together, the colour parts are recommended to be glued in with any glue, but not 100% necessary. If there are any problems, please write so while reviewing.

 

Instructions for assembly:

 

1.)  Put the coloured window plates and click them into their respective slots. The line under the window plate is also organized so that you do not need to sort them.

2.) Get the wheel holder and snap the wheels in place. This should be self-explanitory, as the small wheels go in the small slot, and the big one in the larger slot.

3.) Repeat this for all wheel mechanisms.

4.) Snap the wheels in the holes underneath the monorail. (Might require more force than you think.)

5.)  Slide the monorail onto the track, where you can connect more.
