Polarization wave plate cellophane adapter BHS/BHT

***IMPORTANT: this adapter only works for a BHS or BHT (not BHTU). The BHTU has less space under the condenser due to the nosepiece difference. 

 

An adapter to fit cellophane on a spinnable and rotatable ring. I uploaded two pictures, one of them was taken with the original 530 nm Olympus wave plate and the other was taken with cellophane and this adapter. Cut a circle of cellophane with birefringent and glue it to the flat inside of “insert”. Then put the insert in the flipper; ideally it should spin and rotate easily but told it's position when not moving. I included a copy of my polarizer filter holder base; insert a polarized lens/film on this part.
