Description

Here's a remix of the TRX4M cargo truck linked below. This cab and components provide greater clearance around the front wheels to allow for larger tires.

If starting from scratch, print only the first 3 plates, the modified cab steps are not required. Only the components I have modified from the original are provided here, all other parts should be printed from the original model. Assembly is the same as the original model, so please follow the excellent PDF at the project link below.

If you are looking to modify an existing cab, then print plates 2, 3 & 4, just omit the actual cab.

You'll need to remove the original components and replace them with theses new parts, they should fit like for like, only issue may be removing the fenders if glued to the body.

To modify the cab, remove the cab steps using a dremel and carefully shave back as cleanly as possible as marked below. Then hold the new fender to the cab and mark the area to remove, again using a dremel, this time it doesn't have to be as clean as the new fender will cover the mess. Use superglue or a PLA glue to attach the new fenders and steps, I used tape to hold them in place while drying.
