Shamrock Medallion Earrings

Here's a little luck of the Irish in time for St. Patrick's Day, and pinch-protection to boot! 

 

This versatile model can be used many ways. Some examples include, but aren't limited to:

Earrings, Keychain, Pendant, Gift tag, Wine bottleneck accessory, Shoelace Charm, Suncatcher* (If printed thin enough and large enough, or with transparent filament).

 

The model can be resized, but I recommend not sizing the Z-axis too thin if you print it around the 1 inch diameter. I also recommend using a 0.2 nozzle if you plan to print it small since the clover outline is not overly thick. You can make it as plain or fancy as you like with your print settings and plate choice.

 

• This model was printed with a 0.4mm nozzle on a holographic plate
• Filament: Black PLA for the clover. Dual green/gold silk PLA for the base
• Octagram Spiral for the top, bottom, and infill pattern (sparse and internal) - (this isn't necessary, but I chose it since I intend to make these earrings and it will keep the pattern consistent if light filters through them while worn
