Usage Instructions
- Choosing the Lid
- Flat Lid (Case Lid (Flat).stl): Attach the locking part (Spool Lock.stl) to both sides of the case to secure it. With this option, the lid of the silica gel case does not need to be opened to fix the spool, making filament replacement easy and convenient.
- Spool Lock Lid (Case Lid (Spool Lock).stl): The locking part (Spool Lock.stl) is used to secure the bottom of the case, while the lid’s flange hooks onto the spool to hold it in place.
- Locking Mechanism
The lid features a slight indentation for the locking mechanism. It may be tight at first, but after opening and closing it a few times, it should become smoother.
Recommended Settings
- Materials: PLA / PETG / ABS
- For use with silica gel during drying processes, PETG or ABS is recommended (PLA may deform at high temperatures)
- Layer Height: 0.2mm (recommended)
- Support: None required
