Milwaukee Packout Screwdriver Rack

I've recently been modifying my garage and tool storage to be more modular and the Milwaukee Packout system was a really obvious choice for me due to the huge flexibility provides as well as the depth of accessories and options they have.  If you're looking at this model you also know that the entire catalog of Packout storage and accessories are ridiculously expensive (dare I say overpriced??).  Luckily my 3D printing hobby often leads to more economical options for everyday tasks and, my Packout journey was no exception.

 

Thanks to other makers posting their models I've been able to find some really good economical options to ease some of my spending pain.  CK Designs has developed an awesome wall mounting plate that they have posted to Makerworld.  What a game changer!! Milwaukee wants $29.99 per plate while I've been able to print these for just over $1.00 per plate. Here's a pic of my early progress leveraging this design

Makerworld is also full many other useful designs for dividers, parts bins, etc but, I found very little for the wall mounting accessories; I've now set out to begin designing my own.  The first need I had was a screwdriver rack.  Again, Milwaukee's costs $14.99 and I've been able to print my design for about $1.50 using Bambu Filament.

 

I designed two separate versions (both in the same file) to accommodate both the CK Design mounting plate as well as the OEM Milwaukee plate.  These are friction fit so expect them to require a little force to hang and remove them.  Some of my forthcoming models are intended to be more mobile  and I wanted to use a standard design across the board for the cleats and went with lower tolerances for mounting security.

 

Plate 1: Used for mounting to the CK Design Wall Mounting Plate 

Plate 2: Used for mounting to the OEM Milwaukee Mounting Plate or any of the OEM Packout boxes

 

Supports must be enabled!! 

 

I used Bambu PETG-HF but, I'm sure PLA would work just fine for this particular model as long as they aren't kept in a hot vehicle.  I also used a .24mm layer height but, you could adjust higher or lower without much issue. 

 

 I'd also love to hear suggestions for additional Packout Wall Mount ideas.
