Jukebox - Night Light and Music Box

March 29, 2025
Description
This Jukebox is a night light music box.
It uses two Maker's Supply kits: The Music Box Winding Kit K014 and the RGBW Puck Lights KC007 (see links below)
As an alternative I have added a foot for the LED Lamp Kit MH001 (STL-file only, no print profile) to the download section.
Print preparation:
Make sure that your print bed is clean and grease-free and use a quality brand and dry filament. For the orange light bars I recommend a translucent material, e.g. Bambu's PETG transparent (again, see links below).
Print settings:
Use the 0.2mm standard settings for everything. Some parts need support. For more details take a look at my 3mf print profile.
This model can be printed on any Bambu printer so far that has an AMS. The AMS is needed to colourise some detailed parts. If you paint those parts yourself you can print them in a single colour without an AMS.
Assembly:
You need a Phillips screwdriver and some glue for the assembly.
Let's start! Remove all supports and brims thoroughly! De-burr and clean all parts.
Insert batteries into your Puck Lights and place them in the Jukebox foot, batteries facing down.
Leave the Puck's original cover away, it is not needed.
Slide the reflector into the Jukebox body.
Screw the music box to the body on the inside.
This is how the backside should look now.
Slide-in the record deck. You can secure it with glue, if needed.
Glue the little feet to the big lightbar. Do not mix-up left and right.
Glue the lightbar to the Jukebox body.
And place the body on the foot. I recommend to add some glue.
Glue the lower light panel to the backside of the front plate.
And do the same for the detailed parts on the front of the front plate.
Push the lower left corner of the front plate into the slot on the left lightbar foot.
Now press the other side in the slot on the other foot. It should snap in place.
Finally push the front plate down into the slot on the silver foot.
Do not use glue here, otherwise you cannot access the Puck Light any more. The front plate needs to be removable.
Enjoy your new tiny Jukebox!
PS:
Yes, the remote control still works, even with the Jukebox closed.
