Description
I have designed 13 port covers to protect them from dust.
I primarily use them on devices exposed to outdoor or dusty environments to shield the ports from harmful particles.
Another useful application is to mark certain ports as reserved or not to be used.

I used PETG and PLA, both filaments work well.
All models have been tested on my devices, including smartphones, laptops, TVs, and USB testing equipment.
Please note that USB-C ports can vary slightly from one device to another. For example, my laptop’s USB-C port is tighter than the one on my smartphone. If you find the fit too loose or tight, feel free to adjust the scale by ±1–2% to better suit your device.
Make sure your print has good layer adhesion. The plugs shouldn't crack easily when bent by hand (mine don’t). If you're having issues with PETG adhesion, try reducing or turning off part cooling—there are no extreme overhangs in these models—and consider increasing your nozzle temperature by 10–15°C.
SD card and Micro SD card require 0.1mm height (it is set in settings)
AUX (3.5mm jack) model requires slower print and accuracy, it has settings 10mm/s and 0.1mm height. If the AUX model is not printed well (distorted), please increase cooling as shown in the screenshot below
I have used a standard 0.2 mm layer height profile, which suits the majority of plugs (except SD cards and AUX, which have their own 0.1 height). The only important setting I changed was:
No brim or supports are needed—it’s a simple and clean print.
