The Fifne AM8T mic is a great budget option. I've been using mine for a while, and at the 60 USD price point with a boom arm, is a really good budget option. But one thing was wrong with it,  no shock mount. The mic is connected directly to the boom arm, thus every single movement of the desk it is mounted to, every touch of the boom arm, everything will be picked up by the mic. More expensive mics have a shock mount to mitigate this problem.

So shock mount design will take your AM8T microphone to the next level, and solve the mic noise issue. With this cheap solution, your AM8T will feel like one of the more expensive mics on the market.

The Shock mount Arm Ring comes in 2 Versions:
 

1-4 Inch Thread - for the Fifine low profile boom arm.
3-8 Inch Thread - for the Fifne regular boom arm.
