Spool extender for Bambu lab A1

Are you tired of your non-Bambu spool jittering like crazy when printing without the AMS to the point where you have to check every 30 minutes to make sure the spool hasn’t vibrated off the holder and tried to wreck your setup? Yeah, same here.
 

Unlike other models (like the A1 Mini or older A1 versions), the Bambu Lab A1 features a non-removable right-side spool arm with a widened end cap, which makes most standard spool adapters either incompatible or annoyingly wobbly.
 

This arm serves as the main filament support, and its unusual geometry inspired this custom-fit solution for wider or non-standard spools (looking at you, Amazon Basics 👀).
With this adapter, you can now securely handle spools up to 86.5 mm in width.
 

The model is precisely designed to fit the right-side integrated spool arm on the A1 – that smooth, molded cylinder that’s part of the printer’s body.
Be aware: it snaps in tight to avoid unwanted rotation... but that also means it can be a bit tricky to remove without breaking.
