Description
If you are like me and you like collecting TCG Tins, you probably noticed that they take up quite a bit of space and they are not always the most practical storage solution. I wanted to make full use of my Tins so I developed this organizer that is material efficient and allows safe storage of cards.
The organizer is able to store approx. 400 sleeveless cards and approx. 260 sleeved cards, but make sure you always have room to pull out the cards otherwise it can be a real challenge taking them out.
Several iterations have been done on the model to reduce material while maintaining optimal functionality.
PLA or PLA+ will work just fine for this organizer in the majority of cases.
In case you live in a very hot area and you plan to use the Tin Box for transportation outside the house consider printing it in PETG.
I had problems printing this with Orca Slicer due to a bug that causes overhang walls to sag.
I managed to fix this by selecting “Partially Bridged” in “Bridge counterbore holes” menu.
The model assembly is quite straightforward, but in case you need help refer to the GIF above.
Depending on your printer tolerances, a bit of force might be required during the first assembly.
