A premium insert for fast setup, smart organization, and full 3D-printed components.
A brass-toned finish gives a subtle nod to the name, even though there’s no real brass inside — just a lot of love for this amazing game. I built this because I couldn't find a logical and beautiful insert that could hold all 3D-printed premium resources properly. This design focuses on fast setup, durable fit, premium materials, and smooth table presence.
Key Features:
- Organized for ultra-fast setup: no fiddling, just lift and play
- Card holders go directly onto the board, matching the printed card piles
- Iron and coal trays fit exactly onto the board grids and lift over seamlessly
- Coin trays split into two for better reachability on both sides of the table
- Merchant tiles sorted by player count for quick game prep
- Spacer added between coins and player boards for easy box access
- Fits full 3D-printed premium components: iron, coal, barrels, trains, and barges
- Designed for vertical storage (recommended to use elastic bands due to the slim box)
Important notes:
- As a deliberate design tradeoff to maintain a clean and logical layout, the insert has a 1.5 mm lid lift. See images
- This insert is designed for the retail edition of Brass: Birmingham — not the deluxe edition.
