Mazda RX8 S2 Mirror Shroud for S1 Rearview Mirror

Boost MeI can't imagine many people are in need of this part, but if you do end up using, I'd really appreciate a boost!

This part solves a fairly niche problem I have. I am the owner of a Mazda RX8 R3 (series 2) which has a slightly different rearview mirror mounting than the older S1 models.

 

As parts are hard to find for the S2 compared to the S1, I was forced to get an S1 mirror. However, the base of the mirror isn't quite the same shape and size as the S2 mirror, preventing the mirror shroud going back on, which covers the rain sensor.

 

 

So, I designed this part which fits over the rain sensor and ensures there is no conflict with the S1 mirror. For mounting, I'm just using some double sided tape, which this model contains some tabs for.
