Description
Summary:
A stamp with swappable inserts that can easily be edited. The inserts are locked in place by a screwable cover.
Model Description:
The fusion file is provided would you want to adjust the tolerances, see how it's done or simply edit the model easily. I also re-created the insert model in openscad to easily customize it with a SVG (easy to do, look in the zip file).
If you don't use CAD yet, check out StampForge, it is an easy online tool made by a fellow printables creator to apply an SVG to a 3d model.
You can upload the blank insert and your SVG there to make your own insert come to live.
Note that for this model you will need a Z offset of -23 (=-diameter/2) and a scale of about 6. The Y offset can be handled automatically or you can use 4,3.
Printing information:
In addition to the model, I provided a blank insert, you can simply add your wished symbol onto it with a height (by default) of 2mm. This can, naturally, also be done via the fusion and openscad files directly of course ro even with the StampForge online tool.
Initially I simply cut open an old inkcartridge I had laying around for the make but it gave quite messy results (see blue make) as usually too much ink was used. Spreading the ink on the insert with something worked better but wasn't practical so I simply bought a 2euro inkpad. The results are much sharper this way (see black make).
