This is a 3D-print-optimized litter scoop.
I was looking around MW and found most other litter scoops to be lacking - either too flimsy or too bulky. So I designed my own!
Features:
- Sharp scoop edges to get those annoying caked-on bits in the corners of the litterbox
- Raised lip ramp to keep in scooped litter during sifting
- Wide mouth with tapered body to maximize scoopability
- Optimized 1.6mm walls for good strength with an efficient print
- Ergonomic handle
- Optimized 4mm width grating that (for our litter at least) allows non-clumped litter to sift through while still catching those small clumps that other scoops tend to allow through
- Bottom, rear-corner, and rear grating for a large sifting surface area
- Flat bottom to redistribute and smooth out litter again!
I went through a good number of iterations to get this scoop just right for our litter and litterboxes. Hopefully it can work for you as well!
