Boost MeIf you like this design then please give it a free boost. Thanks!

I built a ESP32 pulse injection metal detector based on the Spirit PI project (links below) and required appropriate hardware to:

  • Create a 200mm coil base with adjustable angle hinge (connects to a length of 25mm PVC pipe).
  • Create a arm rest and wrist handle for easy movement.
  • Create a mounting box for the electronics.
  • Create a Galaxy S9 phone holder that sits on top of the mounting box (to interface with the detector).

Print with PETG-CF for good toughness and durability.

Zip ties are used to secure the components to the 25mm PVC pipe.

No battery holder as I use a 12v battery with cable to a backpack (makes the detector very light to use).

The phone holder is required as the ESP32 uses Bluetooth to control the detector from the “Spirit PI” android app.
