Description
I would appreciate the likes and boosts.
This is the feeder port used in low mess feeders. You can drill or cut a hole in about any container and glue this in place. It allows the bird to stick their head in the gravity fed container and eat without making a mess. It works well with coturnix quail and chicks. If you want it for larger chickens, you can just increase the size by 25%.
The size of the tubes as printed by my P1P is 37.6mm. So if you’re cutting holes for it, they would need to be roughly 37.8mm to accommodate them. That is just under 1.5” so you might be able to get away with a 1.5” hole saw. If that makes the hole too big, just size up the model by 1.5-2%
If you need a gravity feed feeder, check out my profile. I created one and uploaded it here utilizing three of these feeding ports.
