Car Wheel Coasters

Car wheel drink coasters - 4 quick print, 100mm sized coasters. Easy to find adhesive cork backing (10cm) on Amazon to finish the project off nicely. Link to the ones used on the print seen here (100mm x 1mm).

Printed face down for texture, or could be printed face up with ironing (on/off). I used a Geco plate (included in print profile) and set the plate to engineering plate, with the temperatures on each filament setting to match ‘engineering’ plate for my X1C with 1*C. Make sure to adjust if you need. 

Details:

• Filament -→ Used black PLA & gold silk PLA 
• .4 nozzle set with .2 layer height, with initial layer at .22
• 2 wall loops
• Bottom surface pattern = Concentric, 5 bottom shell layers
• 15% infill gyroid
• Slowed wall speeds: outer = 100mm/s, inner = 225mm/s

Face-down mode with my settings resulted in ~75g of black filament, ~7g of the gold over 10 layers & 2 hour print with all 4 on a single plate.
