SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD Caddy Laptop Mount

After searching for a simple way to mount my SanDisk Extreme SSD to my laptop and finding everything either too big, too small, or just completely over-engineered, I decided to design what I call the Goldilocks mount because it's just right.  

 

This holder attaches to your laptop using two small suction cups and fits SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD model SDSSDE61 which has the USB-C  port on the bottom right of the drive.  This is not intended for the Pro model which has the USB-C port in the middle.

 

The suction cups I'm using for this project [ Amazon Link ] have mixed reviews but they're working well for me. I did discover you need a little bit of moisture to help with the adhesion, but otherwise the weight of the caddy and drive are negligible.
