Coin - Customizable with your Text or Emoji

I've had fun making these Customisable coins to print out for a variety of uses, such as pirate treasure, as board game tokens, or for playing shop with my three year old. They're designed to be quick to print, and just a little bit fancy to make them more interesting than just a plain circle would be.

Initially I made these for my Toilet Training Reward Coins, which used custom SVG designs for the centrepiece, but quickly discovered a range of other uses, so got to work making it a bit more customisable to easily spin out new variants.

 

If you visit on PC and click the “Customize” button, you can swap between Text Mode (great for $ symbols and coin values 1, 10, 25, 100 etc.) or the Emoji Mode, where you can paste an emoji from your keyboard or use something like GetEmoji.com to easily copy/paste.

In Text mode it's easy to adjust the font to one that suits your needs. I've been particularly enjoying:

• Pirata One: For a classic, bold pirate look
• Cinzel: For an ancient, Roman-style treasure coin
• Uncial Antiqua: For a rounded, medieval feel
• Almendra Bold: For an ornate, gothic fantastical storybook style
