90° Flashlight Prop – Inspired by The Last of Us
This print-in-place prop is based on the flashlight used by Ellie in the HBO adaptation of The Last of Us, recreated with a focus on realism and ease of use.
Features:
Since the original is no longer available, I designed this as a as close as possible alternative. It prints easily with minimal supports and assembles effortlessly.
Note: The on/off switch is not in the original screen-accurate position, as a small enough switch wasn’t available.
To Edit the Side label text, you must change it to Part in Bambu studio. Don’t forget to make it a negative Part again afterwards.
A print profile is available for the TPU version.
The photos show the version printed using ColorFabb VarioShore TPU.
I’ll upload detailed assembly instructions for the electronic version soon.
Tip: The 90° joint mechanism should be printed in standard PLA — avoid softer materials like matte or silk PLA, as they may affect functionality.
If you want your flashlight prop to function as a real flashlight, here are the components I used:
⚠️ Soldering is not required if you use WAGO connectors — great for beginners or a quick build.
