Description
Hy everyone, I created this keychain for the contest. I thought a keychain should be practical, so I designed this model to allow the keys to be lifted easily by pulling them up from the opposite side of the pin.
I also included a small light, very handy for multiple occasions, which is activated through the magnet located on the edge. (To see how it works, simply go to Maker Supply, enter the LED name, and watch the attached video.)
The light can be easily removed thanks to the deeper finger slot, which allows you to lever it out comfortably. There is also an NFC tag.
The keychain consists of four printable pieces that interlock, and the covers are customizable to make each keychain unique. The different skins are attached to the keychain via magnets. For the realization of this keychain you need 8 magnets D4x2 mm, a Ring LED Magnetic Control Switch Light, NFC tag D25 mm, an M3 Socket Head Cap Machine Screw, an M3 carbon steel hex nut. You can find all the pieces on Maker's Supply.
The measurements were not adjusted for printer tolerance; they were taken to the millimeter. This way, you can apply the best tolerance for your specific printer.
