Multicolor Star Earrings – AMS Version

These festive star earrings are great for the 4th of July or any time you want a bold, colorful accent.  Inspired by a popular layered model, this version is designed  to take advantage of the Bambu AMS system. Instead of stacking colored layers, the colors run through the full depth of the model, giving a multicolor effect from every angle.

Lightweight, quick-printing, eye-catching, and print-ready with no supports needed.  The plate is already loaded with 3 sets of earrings to leverage the filament switching overhead, which remains constant.

To finish the earrings, you’ll need standard earring hooks and jump rings. You can find inexpensive earring kits on Amazon, at craft stores like Michaels or Hobby Lobby, or through online retailers like Etsy. Look for:

• Earring Hooks (fishhook style, often stainless steel or hypoallergenic)
• Jump Rings (6mm or similar size, to attach the printed piece to the hook)

You’ll also need two pairs of small pliers (or one pair and some patience!) to open and close the rings securely.
