Clip-on Drawer for DeWalt XR Power Tools

This is a helpful little drawer that can be clipped on to DeWalt XR batteries so you can store a handful of screws, wall plugs, drill/screw bits etc. while you're working so you don't drop them or lose them.

 

This has been designed for the 1.3Ah 18V XR battery, but may work with others that have the same form factor, it just clips on to the bottom.

 

It is recommended to print in PETG due to the clips. If you print in PLA you may find these snap off as PLA is very brittle. 

 

The drawer prints in two parts, the first is the mount that snaps onto the bottom of the battery, the second part is the drawer itself and just slides on.

 

It has been designed so that it can be printed without supports, and doesn't require any assembly other than sliding the drawer on.

 

The drawer should click in place. As everyone's printer has different tolerances though, I am providing three different print profiles. The drawer part is the same on all three, but the mount part has slightly adjusted tolerances on each to adjust how tight the drawer slides on. 

The default profile is a medium fit, then there is a loose fit and tight fit profile if you find the medium fit doesn't work well with your printer.
