Description

Woke up 2 days ago and I felt like creating a catamaran. Looked at images of different designs and combined what I liked, to create my own version. This is actually MkII. The original design as seen in the photos, ended up with the stairs on the rear of the hulls sitting to low in the water. The design was adjusted to keep everything above water. I've also added an optional wind up motor deck if you like to use this as well.

Dimensions: Approximately 440mm long x 240mm wide x 325mm high. I used a piece of crafting felt for the sail on this model (in the pool, it worked better than I thought). Add some accessories found on makerworld and this could be a nice functional diorama. Make no mistake, gluing is necessary. Shoe Goo and clamps were used for the pontoons and Krazy glue for the other components. There are different shaped alignment pins all over the place so it goes together properly, as intended. When you see it catch the wind and sail, it is guaranteed to make you smile.
