Description
I made this as an alternative to the other available Ghostbusters keychains that had various issues (upside down hook placement, poor outline definition etc). I first modified the standard logo image in GIMP to thicken the black lines and features (using a Gaussian blur and then crushing the colour curve to solidify the wider lines) before importing into the Keychain Maker.
This model is intended to be printed face down (although up to personal preference), hence a first image layer height of just 0.24mm to minimise filament changes before switching to the backing filament for the remainder 2mm thickness.
While the facial features have been thickened, careful preparation is still required to ensure good bed adhesion for the fine details. I strongly recommend:
For my 0.4mm nozzle, I found a first layer line width of 0.38mm worked well on a textured PEI plate.
