🍌 Nanachaku – Banana Nunchaku

 

For Bruce Lee fans… and banana lovers.

Inspired by the surprising popularity of my remixed Banana Knife, I decided to go one step further — and what’s more iconic than Bruce Lee’s signature yellow jumpsuit and his trusty nunchaku?

Yes. You guessed it.
This is Nanachaku — a 3D printable banana-themed nunchaku designed with fun, strength, and printability in mind.

🍌 Backstory

As a lifelong Bruce Lee fan, I always loved how his yellow jumpsuit and nunchaku moves became symbols of speed and confidence. One day I held two bananas in hand and thought: “Wait... this needs to exist.”
So I made it happen.

🛠️ Printability Notes

• The chain connector between the sticks is specially designed with an octagonal (8-sided) cross section, ensuring every face stays within the 45° overhang rule — no messy spaghettis mid-print and no support needed.
• To ensure strength, I set 5 wall layers, but note: this reduces cooling and increases risk of warping at overhangs. To combat this, I used an 18mm brim for better bed adhesion.
• and the white color parts need good cooling so I set all the Fan speed to 100% and place the parts close to the auxiliary fan (this is for P1 and X1 series if u using A1 series an external fan might help), and remember to print with the door open wide if using enclosed printer unless u are using A1 series or H2D.
• The outer shell of all parts is set to 3–4 walls for extra durability.
• Two print profiles included:
  • AMS (multi-color): Print everything in one go using "Print by Object".
  • Non-AMS users: Sliced into two build plates with consistent structural settings.

🧩 Assembly

Parts snap-fit with minimal post-processing. Just pop the links into the sockets and you're ready to banana-style battle.

This is my tribute to Bruce Lee... with a twist of potassium.
