Fire TV Stick Voice Remote Pro TiVo Peanut Style

UPDATE:  V3 version with APP button protection added.  Original print profile is still available but the V3 is better.  It also has tiny indents to hold the top part on better.  The button protection part snaps in and is easy to remove.

 

I really like the peanut shape and feel of the TiVo remote.  It is easy to hold and makes finding the buttons in the dark more natural.  I set out to make a similar remote cover for the Fire TV and after many iterations produced this model.  It is designed for the Voice Remote Pro that was released in 2023 and is the newest remote style.  It is an upsell from amazon though and I do not think they are including it as the basic remote yet.  I will publish a model for the older remotes with this style soon.

The main features of this model:

• Stands upright
• Prints without supports
• Bottom is flat for room label
• Adds length to the remote

It works for both index finger and thumb button access.  I use my thumb to control things on the remote.  My wife holds the remote differently and uses her index finger to press the buttons.  This remote works well for both use cases.

If you have lost the battery cover to your remote, this cover still works.

The remote is made to print upright and smooth.  If you want a textured skin on it, PM me and I will make a model.
