This Poké Ball is a fully functional version in its reduced state, with an approximate diameter of 5cm. This version faithfully retains the original size of the Poké Ball in its compact state before expanding when the central button is pressed.

 

 

🔹 Technical Modifications:

• Optimized internal hinge: The opening mechanism has been redesigned so that the internal hinge keeps the Poké Ball sealed without relying on the central button.

   

• Locking button: Unlike standard models, I have optimized the central button so that it no longer needs to be pressed to open the Poké Ball. It now stays closed through friction and can be easily opened with a light press.

   

   

🔹 Pro tip: Due to the small tolerances and the challenge of downsizing while keeping the Poké Ball functional, it is recommended to insert the pin through the holes before assembling both halves. This will make it easier to position it in the final assembly.

This fully functional Poké Ball is designed as an accurate replica, made entirely from 3D-printed parts. Assembled with super glue, it features a working hinge.
