💩 Behold: The Floating Poop Chute—Now with a Plot Twist! VENT FREE!
After one too many tragic encounters with rogue floor poop, I decided enough was enough. Most poop chutes were decent, but they had one fatal flaw: I could not fit it behind my H2D because of space.

So I rolled up my sleeves (metaphorically) and engineered my own deluxe edition.

This beauty doesn’t just float—it funnels with finesse. Thanks to a built-in stopper, every nugget knows exactly where to go. No more floor splatter, no more cleanup drama. And because I like my poop solutions with a dash of class, I slapped the Bambu Lab logo right on the front. Because nothing says “I take poop seriously” like branding.

Designing this chute was no walk in the poop park. I had one mission: guide every turd to its destiny without blocking airflow like some rookie. So I dove into some good ol’ R&D—aka, staring at it for hours and muttering, “Where does the poop want to go?”

The answer? Suspend it mid-air like a wizard’s waste funnel. ✨
To pull off this levitating marvel, I got creative with magnets. Not just one. Not two. I started with three, and it held up fine. But then I thought, “Why settle for fine when you can have fortress-level poop security?” So I doubled down with six magnets.

Once that chute latched onto the 3D printer wall, it was like Excalibur in stone—immovable, majestic, and ready for action. Even the printer’s wildest dance moves couldn’t budge it. That poop chute? Solid as a rock. Floating like a dream.

I ordered some 25x2mm magnets that could probably hold up a small planet. Perfect for this poop chute masterpiece. To lock them in place, I used just a drop or two of lightning-fast glue—blink and it’s bonded.

I pressed each magnet into its cozy little home, gave it a gentle nudge to sit flush, and let it chill for an hour. And let me tell you, once that glue sets, those magnets aren’t going anywhere. You’d need a crowbar and a personal vendetta to pry them loose.

Any fast-drying superglue will do the trick, but the gel kind? Chef’s kiss. No drips, no mess, just a clean little dab in the center of the magnet hole and voilà—magnet magic. It’s like giving your chute a security system with zero drama.

When it came to print quality and strength, I didn’t reinvent the wheel—I just let Bambu Handy do its thing. Most settings were straight-up default, because why mess with perfection?

  • Layer height: a crisp 0.2mm
  • Wall loops: set to 2 (you could go wild and bump it to 3, but honestly, this print doesn’t need the extra armor)
  • Supports: now this part mattered. I went with tree type (auto), style to Tree Slim flavor, and a 30° threshold angle—because we’re not trying to support a skyscraper, just some polite overhangs.
  • I only checked the box to remove small overhangs. That’s it. No drama, no wizardry.

And if you’re feeling artsy? Just grab your favorite color and give that Bambu Lab logo a little paint job. Boom—instant two-tone masterpiece. It’s like giving your poop chute a designer handbag.
