Customisable S-hook

A customisable S-hook.

The default size has an upper inner diameter of 25mm and a lower inner diameter of 30mm. With an “S” thickness of 8mm and a width of 12mm.

 

The hook is carefully shaped so it can hook over a bar of the specified inner diameter without needing any force.

How to Customise

Click on the green “Customize” button above, then:

 

Main Dimensions:

• Select the inner diameter of the upper hook, between 10mm and 60mm.
• Select the inner diameter of the lower hook, between 10mm and 60mm.
• Select the thickness of the “S” shape, between 5mm and 20mm: wider is stronger.
• Select the width of the hook (extrusion length along the Z-axis) between 5mm and 40mm.

Details:

• Select the angle of the upper hook end, from 30° to 90°. Higher angles curve further.
• Select the angle of the lower hook end, from 30° to 90°. Higher angles curve further.
• Select the size of the edge chamfer, from zero to 2mm.

The Shape

The shape has two radii for each hook, one for the specified inner diameter and a slightly larger one to allow the hook to be hooked over a bar without bending it.
