Hermit Crab

I designed this articulated hermit crab model to use minimal filament while still achieving a beautiful multicolor result.
The thumbnail image shows a version with the shell hand-painted, but the model is optimized to be printed in separate parts without supports.
Please note that if you choose the multicolor version, you will need to use glue for the eyes and the shell.

Before printing:

Make sure your print bed is completely clean to ensure proper adhesion.
If it’s dirty or the print detaches, you can fix it by washing the build plate with dish soap.
This tip is especially helpful for users with a PEI surface and a cold bed.
Taking this step can be key to achieving a 100% successful print!
