This model is designed to fit within a 200 x 200 mm print area. I used adaptive layer setting for the hat in the print profile. This helps the cone shaped part of the model print more smoothly.

 

I used two different colors for the beads. To print them at the same time, the print sequence setting should be set to "by object." If you want to print in a single color, you can change this setting.

 

First, thread the beads onto a nylon string. Then, tie a large knot at one end of the string as shown in the picture. After that, burn the knot thoroughly with a lighter and insert it into the hole at the bottom of the hat. If you burn it enough, the string will stick well to both the cylindrical part and the hole.

 

Once you’ve done that, adjust the tension of the beads and repeat the same process on the other end. If you fix both ends without adjusting the tension first, there will be gaps between the beads when you let go. That’s why you should secure one end first, then move on to the other side.
