🌊⚓ The Bireme of the Gods ⚓🌊

In the age when mortals and gods still walked the same world, the Greek Bireme was more than a ship – it was a symbol of divine power.

According to legend, these vessels sailed under the watchful eye of Poseidon, God of the Sea 🌊⚡. Warriors believed that when the waves raged and storms broke loose, it was Poseidon himself testing their courage. The sharp bronze ram at the prow was said to be blessed by Ares, God of War, so that every strike could shatter the enemy’s fate.

Sailors whispered that the bireme carried not only men but also the will of the gods, and that the clash of oars on water echoed like a hymn to Olympus. In battle, when the mast was lowered and only the oars drove the ship, it was as if mortal strength and divine fury became one.

Now, you can bring this legendary warship of gods and heroes into your own collection – recreated in stunning detail, ready to conquer time itself. 🏺⚔️

This model represents a Greek Bireme, a legendary warship from the 6th century BC.
With 50 oarsmen seated in two rows (25 on each side) and around 10 additional soldiers, the bireme was a fearsome vessel of its time.

👉 In battles, the oarsmen would abandon their oars and take up shields and swords, fighting side by side with the warriors.
👉 The ship’s forward ram was designed to pierce and sink enemy hulls.
👉 Navigation was handled with two stern rudders, while oars were the main source of power – the sail was only used for long journeys. During combat, the mast and sail were taken down to allow maximum maneuverability.

This printable model comes in two versions:

1:72 scale
1:55 scale (this version is on pictures)

💡 Assembly instructions are included.
The ship features 50 oars, so patience is key – but the final result is absolutely worth it!
You will only need glue and some string/cord for the rigging.
The sail in my version was printed from TPU, but you can also craft one from fabric for an authentic touch.
