Anything Counter | MtG and other card games

This rotating counter allows you to track things for board games and card games. In my experience, these are very useful e.g. for +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters in Magic, as well as many other kinds of counters such as poison, energy, life, etc…

Printing instructions

This model has three parts:

• The numbered wheel, which has numbers 1-20 on both sides
• The bottom mask
• The top mask

Top and bottom mask fit into each other as shown below:

Both masks are customisable by changing the filament colour and using the colour panting tool in Fill mode. The default profile provides you with the following masks:

• +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters
• energy counters
• poison counters
• a empty customisable template (last plate)

Assembly instructions

Once you decided which colour you want and which masks you want, print them. Assembly is very straightforward. Place the bottom mask, then fit the numbered wheel on it, then snap in the top mask.

A center hole is provided in case you find the fit not to be tight enough. You can install one 6x2 mm magnets in each hole, allowing for top and bottom masks to attract each other for a more sturdy counter.

Customisation

You can customise the empty mask template with any text and any image you wish. For more information, please refer to the following articles:

• The text tool - use this tool with an embedded depth of 0.4mm and a suggested text size of 9mm. Remember the text will be printed on the bottom side of the model, so you have to ensure the text reads on the proper direction. To do that, look at the model from the bottom.
• Drag and drop an *.svg vector image file onto the plate and resize it appropriately, then merge it with a mask model, and change its type to modifier, change its filament to the one you prefer, and position it so that it's perfectly flush with the build plate.
