Description
3D printed poker chips are all a bit too lightweight, so I designed some that contain UK coins to give them some weight.
They are designed primarily for Roulette where each player has a colour, rather than colours being different values. For different values, there are three designs:
Solid chips - contains a 2p piece, suggested as a value $1
Single open chip - contains a 10p piece, suggested as a value of $10
Double open chip - contains two 5p pieces, suggested as a value $100
Think of it as each coin representing a zero in the value.
The models are printed as a top and bottom piece. Insert the coin and clip the two halves together. Note that the closed chip is not keyed, so be careful lining up the pattern on the top and bottom. Likewise the open 10p chip needs care as it is keyed and will only clip together when the keyed parts align. The double 5p coin chip does not need an alignment key.
Size wise they are the same diameter as professional chips but very slightly thicker.
AMS is required for printing. The supplied print profile contains:
1x Top and Bottom, double 5p chip
4x Top and Bottom, single 10p chip
8x Top and Bottom, closed 2p chip
