Description
Most 3D printed slingshots are made in one piece… and that’s exactly the problem. Printing the whole thing flat often leads to weak points where the rubber band mounts — and those are the first to break under tension 💥
So I took a different approach.
This slingshot is printed in separate parts, each oriented to maximize strength along the layer lines.
The grip, band mount, and locking blocks are all printed individually and assembled with screws — making the whole thing much more durable and reliable 🔩
Simple construction, no glue required, and it's easy to put together by following the photos. Feels great in the hand and handles tension like a champ 💪
For best strength and durability, I recommend printing this in PETG — it's much better suited for high-stress parts like this.
