Wall attached barn door guide

A wall attached barn door guide with a slim profile for 3.5mm (#6) screws.

This guide is designed to keep the door as close as possible to the wall while keeping it leveled with the rail, it is printed with the default “strength” preset, with a seam position set to the back.

The print profile provides two different objects on different plates:

• In metric system:
  • Plate 1
    • Back plate height: 75mm
    • Front plate height: 30mm
    • Back plate thickness (with the screw holes): 5 mm
  • Plate 2
    • Back plate height: 50mm
    • Front plate height: 15mm
    • Back plate thickness (with the screw holes): 5 mm
  • Plate 3
    • Back plate height: 75 mm
    • Front plate height: 30 mm
    • Back plate thickness (with the screw holes): 10 mm
  • Plate 4
    • Back plate height: 50 mm
    • Front plate height: 15 mm
    • Back plate thickness (with the screw holes): 10 mm
• In imperial system:
  • Plate 1
    • Back plate height: 3 in (≈ 2.95 in)
    • Front plate height: 1 3⁄16 in (≈ 1.18 in)
    • Back plate thickness (with the screw holes): 0.2 in (≈ 3⁄16 in)
  • Plate 2
    • Back plate height: 2 in (≈ 1.97 in)
    • Front plate height: ⅝ in (≈ 0.59 in)
    • Back plate thickness (with the screw holes): 0.2 in (≈ 3⁄16 in)
  • Plate 3
    • Back plate height: 3 in (≈ 2.95 in)
    • Front plate height: 1 3⁄16 in (≈ 1.18 in)
    • Back plate thickness (with the screw holes): ⅜ in (≈ 0.39 in)
  • Plate 4
    • Back plate height: 2 in (≈ 1.97 in)
    • Front plate height: ⅝ in (≈ 0.59 in)
    • Back plate thickness (with the screw holes): ⅜ in (≈ 0.39 in)

The following common dimensions to normal models:

• In metric system:
  • Base plate thickness (on the ground): 5mm
  • Front plate thickness (holds the door): 5mm
  • Spacing between front and back plate: 45mm
  • Total depth: 55mm
  • Total width: 50mm
• In imperial system:
  • Base plate thickness: 3⁄16 in (≈ 0.20 in)
  • Front plate thickness: 3⁄16 in
  • Spacing between front and back plate: 1 ¾ in (≈ 1.77 in)
  • Total depth: 2 ⅛ in (≈ 2.17 in)
  • Total width: 2 in (≈ 1.97 in)
