DIY Playground Tic-Tac-Toe Board

Make your own full-size tic-tac-toe board for your playground! I wanted to upgrade my kid's playground with a tic-tac-toe board after seeing how much fun he had with one at the park. Commercial versions can be hundreds of dollars, so I decided to make my own!

There are two sizes available:

• Full size 8-inch cylinder blocks (uses ~800g of filament with the recommended 4 walls)
• 6-inch cylinder blocks (compatible with A1 mini and uses <500g of filament, so you can print 2 blocks per spool)
• Spacers are included to help isolate the block's spin, and are compatible with either size

The holes are sized for 1/2 inch EMT pipe (one 10ft section is ~$7 at your local hardware store). Print 9x of the blocks, and 12x of the spacers. Then you're ready to add a tic tac toe board anywhere on your playground!

The 8 inch blocks make a board about 22" wide x 22" tall. You'll want to space the vertical poles 8 inches apart.

The 6 inch blocks make a board about 28" wide x 28" tall. Space the vertical poles 10 inches apart.
