Rotating PVC Joint Connector – 32 mm Pipe Ball Joint for Mannequins, Props & Robots

Create smooth, poseable joints for mannequins, robots, or Halloween props using 32 mm PVC pipe, a golf ball, and an M6 bolt.

This connector is designed for building articulated figures or props using standard 32 mm metric PVC pipes (≈ 1″ Schedule 40 equivalent).

The design uses a golf ball and M6 screw to create a smooth, freely rotating joint — ideal for mannequin builds, animatronics, or creative Halloween props.

Features:

  • Compatible with 32 mm metric PVC pipes (outer diameter ≈ 32 mm)
  • Uses a standard golf ball as a rotation joint
  • M6 screw and nuts for adjustable tension
  • Modular design — perfect for shoulder, elbow, or knee joints
  • Easy to print and assemble

Suggested uses:

  • Poseable mannequins
  • DIY robots or skeleton props
  • Halloween decorations
  • Educational motion models

Assembly notes

Golf ball:

  1. Drill a hole right in the middle of a golf ball to fit an M6 bolt.
  2. Insert the bolt through the golf ball and secure it with a 2 nuts (to create space)
  3. Insert a end-cap that fits on a PVC pipe
  4. Secure this with washer and nut

Joint:

  1. With subtle force you can pop the golf ball into the joint socket

Now you have a fully working rotatable joint ✨
