This is the first accessory pack for the COMBIROD universal 20 mm rod system — a modular construction concept that lets you create almost anything. It’s lightweight yet strong, with smooth and precise threads that make assembly easy.

🧱 What’s Inside

This first accessory pack includes extra-strong COMBIROD mounts for fixed cross-connections or adjustable joint heads.
The base socket is ideal for quick and light tabletop setups.
For larger constructions, simply use multiple sockets for extra stability.

Each component is designed for new combinations within the COMBIROD system —
that’s why the strengths and stiffness of individual parts may differ.

Select the accessories that suit your project and print only what you need.

⚙️ Assembly & Printing Notes

• Pay attention to the different screw types and their positions on the build plate:
  • Joint screws
  • Fixing screws for the COMBIROD tubes
    These differ slightly and are shown on the build plate layout.
• Tighten screws only as much as needed — just enough to hold the joint or rod in place.
  Over-tightening offers no benefit and increases the risk of breakage.
• Do not rotate the parts — keep their original print orientation!
  You can rearrange them on another plate, but keep their direction unchanged.
  For convenience, mark your final build plate as “Your Set” (active/black).
  Select any part, duplicate it, and it will appear automatically on your custom plate.
• Outer threads are reinforced using a height modifier (100 % infill in this section) —
  do not alter these settings, otherwise the threads may break.
• When assembling for the first time, screw parts together slowly — the threads will self-adjust and fit perfectly.
  Remember: this is a precision plastic system, not metal.
  It’s strong enough for most practical setups when handled with care.

🧵 Recommended Materials

The system works with PLA, but for best strength use PETG, PETG-CF, ASA, or ASA-CF.
Material choice greatly affects rigidity — but remember: it’s still plastic!
Screw threads together slowly, apply only moderate force, and you’ll enjoy long-lasting performance.
